The Closing of the Bones

La Cerrada is an important Mexican postpartum ceremony. It is an ancient practice from traditional Mexican midwifery. This ceremony supports women physically, emotionally and spiritually after the huge initiation that is birth. This ceremony allows a woman to come home to her body and to Earth to integrate her birthing experience. This ceremony is also appropriate for women who have gone through big life transitions or rites of passage.

This is the full version of this ceremony which includes a full body massage, herbal steam bath and a closing sequence with rebozos.
